Daughter of a Gun, a proud division of Son of a Gun LLC, is dedicated to empowering women with the skills and knowledge they need to confidently navigate the world of personal defense. We understand the unique challenges women face when it comes to safety, and we’re here to help you face those challenges head-on. 

Our experienced, female instructors offer a variety of courses designed to strengthen your defense skills and build your confidence. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, we have something for everyone:

• Situational Awareness Training: Learn how to recognize potential threats before they become dangerous. Sharpen your instincts and be prepared for any situation.
• Hand-to-Hand Defense: Gain practical, effective self-defense techniques that don’t require weapons, empowering you to protect yourself in close-quarter situations.
• Less-Lethal Defense Options: Explore non-lethal tools, like pepper spray and stun guns, and learn how to use them effectively to protect yourself when needed.
• Concealed Carry Training for Women (Ages 21+): Understand the legal and practical aspects of carrying a firearm. Our training ensures you're confident and safe in deploying your weapon when needed.
• HQL & Concealed Carry Permits (Maryland): We offer training to help you obtain your Handgun Qualification License (HQL), a requirement for purchasing a firearm in Maryland. Plus, we guide you through the process of getting your Maryland Concealed Carry Permit, so you can legally carry in the state.
